Festival of Tables Fundraiser Success
We raised $13,000.00!!! What a wonderful turn out we had at the 1st. Annual Festival of Tables hosted by Mobberly Baptist Church. We had over 220 in attendance and the tables were breath-takingly beautiful. Shelly Wilson sang for us during dinner and Alan Johnson brought us an inspiring message, which challenged each of us to reach out and help the hurting, because they are a miracle just waiting to happen. The fund raiser was a huge success making the shelter $29,050.00 to put towards building their new kitchen. The Men’s Golf Association, headed up by Paul Sharpe, organized the event. Amy Clements was our main sponsor, and Southern Hills Golf Course loaned us their staff for the day. We cannot thank the companies who helped sponsor this even enough. God Bless you all!
