Still on Hold
As of Sept 9, we are still waiting on the city of Longview to approve our plans for the water mains so we can begin to put in the water for the sprinklers. From July 2nd to August 13th, House of Hope has been forced to turn away 41 women until building repairs are completed. Texas Department of Transportation rejected our plan for bringing water lines to our shelter from where we originally planned. We have other options and will submit plan #2 soon. Please pray for favor. These delays could cost lives, as these women have to find another place of safety until we can re-open. We continue to be blessed with donations and that encourages us in the fact that we are in this ministry together and these women matter. Thanks for impacting...

As of July 28th, 2010 the number of women House of Hope has been forced to turn away while under construction has reached thirty. We thank those of you that have helped us speed up the process and by providing money and items to better the building. We ask for your continued support so that we can see these women and girls safely back through our doors soon.

We are currently on hold with the installation of a sprinkler system until the city issues our permits. Please pray we get these soon, so we can begin our project. Current number of girls/women turned back onto the streets since July 2nd when our doors closed is 25.
